Do you want to work at the intersection of software, systems and hardware and be part of developing solutions that enable testing of advanced camera and radar systems in automotive?
As a Software Engineer, you will have a central role in developing software platforms and tools for testing, validation and analysis in both local and global projects. You work closely with teams in development, testing and systems to create efficient and reliable solutions.
You are involved in the entire development cycle – from requirements management and system understanding to implementation and verification. This means you work with receiving, analyzing and managing system requirements, and ensuring that these are translated into functioning software solutions. You develop and test solutions and follow up that they meet both functional and technical requirements. Through a holistic perspective on the system, you contribute to driving the work forward and ensuring stable and well-functioning solutions.
You work in agile teams and collaborate in a global context, where you have daily contact with colleagues in different functions and parts of the organization. Through close collaboration across geographic and organizational boundaries, you contribute to knowledge sharing, progress and a joint delivery of high quality.
In this role you will:
Develop and improve software for testing, analysis and control, including applications, scripts (Python/Lua) and user interfaces
Analyze data, logs and test results to identify areas for improvement
Troubleshoot systems and communication and analyze root causes in HW/SW integrations (e.g. CAN, Ethernet, ECU, GMSL)
Support projects, DV/PV and production with technical solutions and analyses
Actively contribute to improved quality, stability and efficiency in tools and working methods
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with a couple of years of experience who wants to develop within software development with a focus on testing and verification, in an environment where you get to build broad system understanding – not just write code.
You are a committed team player with technical competence and good analytical skills, as well as a clear interest in software, troubleshooting and quality assurance.
You work in a structured manner and with high presence in your daily work, and collaborate closely with the team on site to ensure high quality in our products and in the development of our solutions and processes.
In your work you analyze problems, identify root causes and contribute to improvements in how we develop, test and verify our systems. You communicate clearly and thrive in an environment where you get to work with complex technical challenges together with others.
To succeed in this role, we see that you have:
Civil Engineering or Engineering degree in Computer Science, Electronics or similar
2–4 years of experience in requirements management / software development
Experience working in teams, preferably in agile environments
Good understanding of programming and software design
Programming skills in for example Python, Lua, C or similar
Good knowledge of Swedish and English
Merits
Knowledge of automotive and communication (e.g. CAN, Ethernet, Autosar)
Basic knowledge of embedded systems
Experience in test automation or similar technical environments
With us you get to work at the intersection of software, system understanding and technology-focused problem solving. You become part of developing tools and platforms that ensure the quality of our products.
You work close to an experienced and committed team with high-tech expertise, where presence, collaboration and knowledge sharing are a natural part of everyday life. Here you get good opportunities to develop, take responsibility and influence both technical solutions and working methods.
