About Us
Södra Lapplands Avfall och Vatten AB is a municipally-owned operating company established in 2024 responsible for waste, water, and wastewater in Dorotea and Åsele municipalities.
We have 30 employees. The Water and Wastewater Unit is responsible for operating water and treatment plants. The Sanitation Unit handles collection of municipal waste, sludge, hazardous waste, and operation of Recycling Centers.
Job Responsibilities
As a truck driver at Södra Lapplands Avfall och Vatten AB, you have an exciting and challenging job. The work is varied and includes:
Operating a truck with interchangeable cargo bed.
Transporting water.
Transporting materials, mass, and containers. Loading and unloading with cargo bed.
Work related to excavation of water leaks.
Daily vehicle inspection and maintenance, plus additional truck driving duties as backup at treatment plants and other tasks.
On-call duty may be required in this position.

Qualifications
You must have a Category E license with valid YKB and extensive experience driving heavy trucks.
Experience operating a wheel loader and training in vehicle-mounted cranes are advantageous but not required.
You have basic computer skills, are technology-minded, and can express yourself clearly in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.

You enjoy working independently while also being a team player. In your role as a driver, you meet customers daily, so it is important that you have excellent customer service skills.
