Now we are looking for a wastewater engineer specializing in distribution networks who wants to be part of planning, developing, and future-proofing our infrastructure. In your role as wastewater engineer, you work both strategically and operationally with the municipality's distribution networks. You participate in planning and renewal of the network and work with connection and subscriber matters. The work involves investigating and handling issues related to wastewater, preparing documentation and materials, analyzing and following up on implemented measures, and contributing to the development of operational plans. You also participate in various wastewater projects and collaborate closely with colleagues within the municipality, especially in connection with new establishments and detailed plans. The position also includes contact with the public, consultants, and contractors, which gives you an important coordinating role. What do we offer? We are looking for someone with technical or scientific education in wastewater, construction, or infrastructure, or equivalent acquired experience. You have worked in a similar role before and have experience from the wastewater industry, and you have worked with distribution networks, which makes you comfortable handling issues related to distribution networks. As a person, you are responsible, proactive, and enjoy working both independently and with others. You have a solution-oriented approach and the ability to see opportunities where others might see obstacles. You work in a structured manner, have good computer skills, and find it easy to learn new information. Your communication skills are good and you feel comfortable interacting with different types of stakeholders. For this position, a driver's license category B is required, as well as excellent knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing, and good knowledge of Microsoft Office. The position is security-classified according to the Security Protection Act, which means that Swedish citizenship and approved security clearance are required.
