Individual and Family Services consist of five different units: Children and Family, Adults, Social Care and LSS, Open Care, and the Family Center. We are responsible for investigating children's need for protection and support according to the Social Services Act and the LVU Act, granting services according to delegation, and following up on granted services. The team consists of 6 case managers and 1 senior case manager who is also the team leader. As a case manager in children and family services, you guide citizens with a focus on early support. You should have the ability to balance the exercise of authority with relationship building, where you reach further by engaging people in their own change process. You believe in people's will and capacity to take the step towards a better situation themselves. You see the whole picture and with the attitude of creating conditions for positive change. QUALIFICATIONS To work with us, you need to have a degree as a social worker and a class B driver's license. We would like you to have experience in the exercise of authority according to the Social Services Act and the LVU Act. We are looking for someone who is interested in actively developing the unit's working methods and approaches together with the team leader and colleagues, based, among other things, on the new Social Services Act. As a person, you can easily adapt your working style depending on the type of case. Furthermore, you have good cooperation skills and are keen on building good relationships, and you are humble and have understanding of other people's life situations. You have a good ability to work independently in your case handling and have a sense of responsibility for the exercise of authority you perform. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
