About the Workplace
HVB Kompassen is a residential care facility with 11 places where children and youth ages 13–21 can live to receive independence training and care based on the young person's individual needs. Decisions and needs assessments form the basis for placement according to the Social Services Act (SoL) or the Care of Young Persons (Special Provisions) Act (LVU) and are made by the responsible social worker in dialogue with the young person, guardians, and the facility's manager. Our mission is to prevent destructive behavior and create security that enables positive change in the young person's life.
Our care work is characterized by a strong value foundation and belief in children and youth's abilities and, not least, their inherent rights, resources, and strengths. In our work, the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child is our guide.
Our team has a good work environment where we help and support each other while having fun together.
