About the Assignment We are seeking an experienced social work consultant for our client, Östra Göinge municipality, for a position as a child caseworker within IFO Children and Youth. The assignment involves work within social services authority functions with a focus on children and youth. The assignment starts no later than September 25, 2026 and runs through December 31, 2026, with the possibility of extension. The position is 100%. The assignment requires physical presence at the municipal office at least four working days per week. Your Responsibilities As a child caseworker, you will work with authority functions for children and youth and be responsible for independently handling and managing cases. You will, among other things: • Handle and manage cases involving children and youth. • Work in accordance with applicable social services legislation. • Conduct investigations and document according to applicable legislation and operational requirements. • Follow up on and manage cases within the current operational area. • Collaborate with children, guardians, colleagues, and other relevant stakeholders. • Work in the Treserva case management system. Your Qualifications • A degree in social work or other education deemed equivalent by the client. • Documented experience working as a child caseworker in social services authority functions. • Strong knowledge of relevant social services legislation, particularly concerning children and youth. • Documented ability to independently handle and manage cases within the current operational area. • Current experience working with the Treserva case management system. • Good documentation and investigation practices. • Strong ability to work independently and in a structured manner. • Strong collaboration skills. • Valid B driving license throughout the contract period. • A certificate confirming no criminal record from the Swedish Police Authority must be presented before the assignment starts. • Ability to work physically on-site at the municipal office at least four working days per week.
