WORK TASKS We are now looking for someone who wants to be part of our team. Work as a social worker at the Adult Unit involves qualified investigation and follow-up responsibilities with the goal of achieving change directed at adults with substance abuse problems or comorbidity. We meet people with special lifestyles and unique experiences who are moving toward new ways of managing their lives. You could be the one who guides them through that change. As a social worker, you investigate needs based on applications or reports, you decide on or propose decisions about appropriate interventions. You follow up on interventions where the long-term goal is to strengthen each person's ability to manage their problems and live an independent life. You are also the person's support in seeking help from healthcare and other authorities so that each person receives coordinated and adequate interventions. Our work is characterized by confidence in the person's ability to develop and that goals of change can be achieved with the right support at the right time. At your disposal, you have the municipality's outpatient care services, which consist of a social medical clinic where you can receive outpatient treatment, Åbacka crafts and garden, which offers rehabilitative activities, various social housing forms, residential support, and the opportunity for good and close collaboration with other authorities. We collaborate in the municipality with the City Mission in Gothenburg regarding Housing First. We have good and close collaboration in our work group and within our organization at IFO, and our work climate is characterized by cohesion and humor. We work in the Lifecare management system and use, among other things, ASI as an investigation method. You will join an engaged and experienced work group consisting of a senior social worker, four social workers, a VIN coordinator, four treatment specialists, and 3 people working with housing issues. We are a work group interested in values underlying our work as well as quality and method development. Therefore, we offer competence development that matches the position's requirements and the work group's development needs. We participate in Professional Journey Dependency. The group has joint process supervision. QUALIFICATIONS You who are applying for this position have a degree in social work. Experience working with this target group and with authority administration is meritorious. You are accustomed to working with a solution-focused approach and have a positive attitude. You see the value of collaborating with others so that each person has access to the right support in their unique situation. A driver's license (Category B) is required.
