Infant Activities consists of three different professions: Social Worker from Social Services Hisingen, Special Educator from Preschool Services, and Child Health Nurse from Närhälsan. In this exciting role, you will work with infants aged 0–1 years and their parents. You work with parents and children in groups and individually. The work is active and concrete with interaction where video becomes an important tool in the working method to give children as good and secure a start in life as possible. You work both with services that do not require needs assessment and with needs-assessed services. Our target group comes primarily from Midwifery Clinics, Child Health Centers, the Haga Team, and Reception BoU and Parent Support within Social Services. You will be a stable and secure resource in their lives, where your analytical ability and creative adaptation enable you to meet different needs and situations. Building trust and setting goals and sub-goals for change work together with the family becomes an important part of working toward positive change. Identifying and collaborating with others who can provide support in the change process, together with the family, is also an important task. Duties Your duties include, among other things: Building relationships with families to understand their unique challenges and strengths. Working together with families toward clearly defined goals. Documenting, evaluating, and following up on interventions to ensure quality and impact. You actively participate in the operation's quality work and are involved in development efforts. We have regular process supervision with an external supervisor and method supervision provided by our two method supervisors at the Resource Unit for Children. Qualifications We are looking for someone who is trained as a social worker and has an interest in working with this target group and knowledge of infant development. You have training in Interaction and training in Marte Meo or BoF. You also have training in Circle of Security (COS). You have previous work experience as a social worker or social pedagogue (3 years) and the ability to make independent decisions from that perspective, as the operation is so small. It is a merit to have experience working as a parent support worker and family therapist, and preferably also with authority functions within children and youth. You are experienced in working in collaboration with other professions.
