Maria Skåne Malmö is an outpatient clinic for young people up to 25 years old who have problems with alcohol and other drugs, as well as for their relatives. The clinic is integrated and operated by Malmö City and Region Skåne. The work team consists of sociologists, nurses, doctors, counselor, psychologist, administrator, and unit manager.
Malmö City currently has 4 sociologists employed at the clinic and is now seeking a new colleague for our integrated team.
The position includes evening shifts on Tuesdays until 18:30 and a short day on Fridays until 14:30. All staff at the clinic are entitled to wellness allowance and shared external supervision 10 times per year.
Duties
You work both independently and in an interdisciplinary team where you offer counseling and therapy sessions to young people, individually and with their families. You also work with family sessions both individually and in groups. You are responsible for documentation of client work. Participation in methods and development work in the operations as well as collaboration with other external actors. You may represent Maria Skåne Malmö and give lectures about the operations.
Qualifications
A sociology degree is required and you have at least 3 years of experience in social work.
Meritorious for the position are:
Further education in an adequate treatment method
Experience of working with family therapy
Good knowledge of harmful use and addiction studies
Experience working with young people with norm-breaking behavior
Experience working with family support for the target group
Experience working within IFO is meritorious
Meritorious further education includes:
Step 1 (independent direction)
Motivational Interviewing (MI)
Relapse Prevention (RP)
Functional Family Therapy (FFT)
Further education in family support
Further education in CBT
As a person, you work well collaboratively, are unpretentious and structured, have strong communication skills, and can work independently while taking responsibility for your tasks. Good demeanor and high service orientation are a must. You can express yourself well in speech and writing. Of course, there is also great commitment to the target group and a desire to make a difference!
