JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Social Worker As a social worker with us, you will have an important societal mission where you work both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues. Your responsibilities include: • Conducting preliminary assessments and investigations according to SoL • Handling cases according to SoL, LVU and LSBS • Providing counseling and professional support to children, young people and their families • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders for the child's best interests Work is primarily during weekdays during daytime hours and you work according to a flexible working hours agreement. The workload varies over time, but you work in an organization where we care about a good work environment. In meetings where decisions are not always well received, the risk of threats and violence may occur. We always work with clear procedures and preventive approaches so you feel safe in your assignment. As a newly hired social worker, you will participate in an introduction program and be assigned a mentor. The team has external supervision and access to support from your manager and operations coordinator. Overtime may occur in acute situations. QUALIFICATIONS Sociology degree or other education deemed equivalent by the employer. Class B driver's license. Employment in this position requires that you can provide a valid excerpt from the criminal record register. Employment form: Fixed-term employment.
