Individual and Family Care in Sölvesborg currently consists of six units: Investigation of Children and Youth, Placement Unit, Livelihood Unit, Adult Unit, Investigation SoL/LSS, and Children and Youth Unit. Placement: Investigation Children and Youth The Investigation Children and Youth unit consists of five social secretaries, two youth secretaries, and one unit manager. Transition to the new Social Services Act is underway. We are investing, among other things, in crime prevention work and strengthening our team with youth secretaries who will be part of a newly started youth team. Additionally, we are working to strengthen the child rights perspective, increase our accessibility, and offer services without needs assessment. To assist us with more complex cases, we have the Home Base Team, which can work with both mapping and intensive family treatment in the home, to protect children and prevent placement. You will have access to close management and engaged colleagues. DUTIES As a social secretary in our investigation team, you will together with your colleagues handle cases according to the Social Services Act and Youth Care Act regarding children and youth. Your duties include receiving concern reports and conducting safety and preliminary assessments. The work involves investigating children's needs according to BBIC, assessing and deciding on interventions, and also following up granted interventions such as open care, contact family, and contact person. You will work closely with other social secretaries within the unit as well as with our open care services, and also with external collaboration partners. You will receive support from colleagues and your immediate manager. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with a degree in social work. Previous experience in authority work within child and youth services is a merit. In your professional role, it is important to have empathy, listening skills, and creativity in meeting with the people we serve. As a social secretary, it is important that you contribute to a good experience of the social services, without disregarding the needs of children and youth. Good communication and lack of pretense are important for us to succeed together in our mission. To perform the work, a willingness and ability to cooperate with both colleagues and the operation's partners is required, as well as the ability to analyze, assess, make legally sound decisions, and to express yourself well in Swedish both orally and in writing.
