JOB RESPONSIBILITIES We are now looking for someone who wants to be part of our team. The work as a social worker in the Adult Unit involves qualified investigation and follow-up responsibility with the goal of achieving change directed at adults with addiction problems or comorbidity. We meet people with special lifestyles and unique experiences who are moving toward new ways of managing their lives. You could be the one who guides them through that change. As a social worker, you investigate needs based on applications or reports, and you make or propose decisions about appropriate interventions. You follow up on interventions where the long-term goal is to strengthen each person's ability to manage their problems and live an independent life. You are also the person's support in accessing help from healthcare and other authorities so that each person receives coordinated and adequate services. Our work is characterized by confidence in the person's ability to develop and that goals for change can be achieved with the right support at the right time. At your disposal, you have the municipality's outpatient services, which consist of a sociomedical clinic where outpatient treatment can be received, Åbacka crafts and garden, which offers rehabilitative activities, various social housing forms, housing support, and the opportunity for good and close collaboration with other authorities. We collaborate in the municipality with Stadsmissionen in Gothenburg regarding Housing First. We have good and close collaboration in our work group and within our organization at IFO, and our work climate is characterized by togetherness and humor. We work in the Lifecare management system and use, among other things, ASI as an investigation method. You will be part of an engaged and experienced work group consisting of one senior social worker, four social workers, one VIN coordinator, four counselors, and 3 people who work with housing issues. We are a work group that is interested in values for our work and quality and method development. Therefore, we offer competency development that matches the position's requirements and the work group's development needs. We participate in the Professional Journey for addiction. The group has joint process supervision. QUALIFICATIONS You who are applying for the position have a degree as a social worker or other relevant higher education that the employer deems equivalent. Experience working with the target group and with authority-exercising work is meritorious. You are accustomed to working in a solution-focused manner and have a positive approach. You see the value of collaborating with others so that each person has access to the right support in their unique situation. B driver's license is required.
