Then you might be the person we're looking for. As a social secretary in financial assistance, you work together with individuals to create conditions for self-sufficiency. You investigate and assess the right to financial assistance, make decisions in accordance with applicable legislation, and follow the individual's development over time. The role involves close contact with individuals and collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders. We actively work with operational development and collaboration, including with the Employment Unit and through a team-based approach within Individual and Family Services (IFO) to provide coordinated support to the individuals we meet. WORK TASKS Our mission is to find sustainable solutions together with the applicant that strengthen their resources and opportunities for self-sufficiency. We conduct investigations according to the Social Services Act (SoL) to assess the right to financial assistance and investigate the need for interventions to achieve self-sufficiency. The individuals we meet often need various support measures to reach self-sufficiency, of which financial assistance is one part. To provide the best possible support, you collaborate closely with both internal and external stakeholders. Through strong cooperation, you contribute to creating long-term conditions for the individual's development and independence. You need to have a good ability to build trusting relationships, meet people with respect and attentiveness, and make professional and well-founded assessments even in complex situations. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who has: • A social worker degree. • Good ability to express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish. • Ability to work in a structured, independent manner with good judgment. • Good collaboration skills and professional conduct. It is advantageous if you have • Experience with government authority work. • Experience working with financial assistance. • Training in or experience with MI (Motivational Interviewing). • Knowledge of relevant legislation in the field. • Experience with the LifeCare business system.
