Close to Those We Serve The unit is located at the area office in Lövgärdet within the Social Administration Northeast. Being close to our users – and near the activities that meet children and families in their everyday lives – gives us good opportunities for faster contact, better collaboration, and more accessible social services work. Our authority work is network-based. We work actively with high participation, transparency, and co-creation of solutions. We see that this strengthens engagement among children and parents and builds trust in contact with social services. A Working Method Supported by Research The Department of Social Work at the University of Gothenburg conducted research during 2024-2026 on the decentralized social services in Lövgärdet. Preliminary results show several advantages to a decentralized approach to social authority work. For us, it is valuable that our working method is both developed in practice and followed scientifically. Methods, Learning, and Development We work with, among other things, Signs of Safety, BBIC, LÖSA, and improved documentation. You will receive training in our methods and models and become part of a workplace where competence development is a natural part of everyday work. We learn from each other, reflect together, and have regular process supervision. Collaboration is Part of Daily Life In Lövgärdet, many of our most important collaboration partners are nearby. We collaborate with, among others, schools in the area, Ung Nordost, Minimaria, the family center, field workers, leisure activities, infant groups, MST, school social workers, and colleagues within the resource units. We also have an ongoing partnership with the organization Tidigt Föräldrastöd. This provides additional opportunities to develop support together with civil society that reaches families early and near their everyday lives. Qualifications We are looking for someone who is a social worker and wants to make a difference for children, young people, and their families. You have solid and well-grounded knowledge of legislation in the field, particularly the Social Services Act and the Care of Young Persons Act. If you have experience in authority work with children and young people – or from other social work involving authority work – we see that as an asset. Since the work sometimes involves travel, a B-class driver's license is a plus. To thrive with us, we believe you are someone who appreciates both independence and collaboration.
