How are we organized?
The Youth Unit consists of 15 social secretaries, one SIG coordinator/social secretary at the police, two group leaders, and a unit manager. Most who work in the Youth Unit have several years of experience in authority work, and all are highly engaged and motivated. At the Youth Unit, we have high ambitions, and it is important to us to do good and legally secure work with high quality that always has the children and their families in focus and their best interests at heart.

Your role
Your main responsibilities will be investigation work and follow-up of interventions with children, young people, and their families according to the Social Services Act and the Care of Young Persons Act.
Your competence and experience
We are looking for someone who has:
- Degree in Social Work
- Good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing.
We consider it a merit if you also have:
- Experience with authority work in children and youth
- Experience working with the Signs of Safety approach.
We place great emphasis on your personal competencies. You find it important and inspiring to work network-based and to identify and utilize the children's and families' own resources and abilities and strengthen them as much as possible. You always have the children's best interests in focus, are curious, flexible, and helpful, and are good at working structurally. You appreciate collaborating with colleagues but also have the ability to work independently.
