We're now looking for a structured and committed social secretary for one of our investigation teams.
We work with investigations and follow-ups of interventions for children aged 13-20 years. With us, you'll become part of an engaged team that strives to develop and increase quality in social work. The unit's two investigation teams are led by a unit manager. Both teams have a team leader who participates in daily operations. We have two school coordinators who ensure that placed youth reach their educational goals. The children and youth area also has a methods developer and a placement coordinator. Good support in your work is available and we strive for accessible management presence.

Your role
As a social secretary in the youth team, you have an important function for young people living in vulnerable situations. It's an exciting and meaningful role where you make a difference for the youth and their families. You work with preliminary assessments, investigations, support, and follow-up of interventions and placements for children, youth, and their parents.
We work based on BBIC (Child's Needs in Focus). We strive to provide families with support at an early stage and as much as possible in their home environment. The work involves exercising authority under the Social Services Act and Act on Care of Young Persons. Your tasks include assessing individual care needs, making decisions, implementing decisions, documenting, cooperating, coordinating interventions, supporting, and motivating. Our goal is to provide Skärholmen's residents with lawful and good treatment in their contact with us.
Meeting our youth and their families in conversation is an important part of the work. We use various methods for assessment and conversation as support, such as SAVRY and MI. Our aim is to work based on Signs of Safety principles and use the tools, all to meet families where they are, as well as to conduct qualitative investigations and assessments. We also actively work to make youth more involved in all parts of the process, both during investigation, intervention, and placement.
Your competence and experience
For this position, a degree in social work is a requirement.
The following are merits:
Experience of exercising authority in social services, particularly in the children and youth area
Documented knowledge of BBIC and Signs of Safety
Documented knowledge of SAVRY, Conversations with Children, and/or MI
Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing
Good ability to document and compile BBIC decision documents
As a person, you are present, clear, and accommodating in your approach. You are engaged and have the willingness to help and establish contact with people in vulnerable situations. The position requires the ability to flexibly and systematically drive the work forward both independently and in collaboration with colleagues and partners. You who apply have the ability to prioritize, make correct assessments, and make decisions in different situations. It's important that you have a strong interest in continuing to develop and improve working methods in social work together with the team.
