Do you want to make a real difference for young people with neuropsychiatric challenges and their families? At NP-center, you work as a practitioner and provide individually tailored support together with an interdisciplinary team. Who are we? NP-center is a cross-municipal activity within the social services that offers support to young people aged 13-23 with neuropsychiatric challenges and their families. Our mission is to strengthen young people's participation and independence in everyday life and to provide support based on their current life situation and future prospects. Support is designed based on each young person's needs and is provided in the environments where the young person is present, for example at home, at school, and during leisure time. Through an interdisciplinary approach, we offer coordinated interventions that create long-term conditions for development and increased independence. At NP-center, we value collaboration, knowledge exchange, and professional conduct. With us, you have the opportunity to contribute your specialist expertise in an activity where we develop working methods and interventions together. NP-center is now seeking two new colleagues who want to join the team! Your responsibilities As a social worker at NP-center, you work as a practitioner and provide individually tailored support to young people with neuropsychiatric challenges and their families. Through close and relationship-building work, you contribute to strengthening young people's participation, independence, and ability to manage everyday challenges. You plan, implement, and follow up support interventions based on each young person's needs and goals. The work takes place in the environments where the young person is present, for example at home, at school, and during leisure time. Together with the young person and their family, you work toward established goals and adapt interventions based on how needs change over time. An important part of the assignment is to collaborate with young people, guardians, and other stakeholders, for example schools, social services, and healthcare, to create coordinated support around the young person. You are part of an interdisciplinary team where different competencies complement each other and contribute to the activity's collective development. Documentation is an important part of the work, and you are responsible for documenting, following up on, and ensuring the quality of the interventions that are carried out. With us, you get a varied and developmental assignment where you combine direct work with young people and families with collaboration, network work, and development of the activity's working methods. You have the opportunity to make a real difference in young people's everyday lives together with engaged colleagues in an activity characterized by collaboration, knowledge, and a shared focus on the young person's best interests. You have a good ability to organize and prioritize your work and can make well-founded decisions based on available information. You take responsibility for your decisions and work in a structured manner even when the workload varies.
