JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a social secretary at the reception unit, you are often the first contact between social services and children, youth, and their families. The work involves receiving and assessing incoming reports of concern and applications, conducting preliminary assessments, and initiating investigations when necessary.
The role also includes close collaboration with schools, preschools, police, healthcare, and other actors to ensure that children and youth receive the right support at the right time.
The work takes place in an activity that is actively developed in accordance with the new Social Services Act, where the focus is on early, preventive, and health-promoting interventions.

Through shared responsibility among social services, schools, police, and civil society, better conditions are created to detect needs early and provide support before problems escalate.
As a social secretary at the reception unit, you are an important part of this work by contributing to early detection, collaboration, and appropriate support measures for children and families.
In this role, you will work with, among other things:
• Receiving and handling incoming reports of concern and applications
• Conducting preliminary assessments according to the Social Services Act
• Initiating and beginning investigations when needed
• Providing advice and support to children, youth, and guardians
• Collaborating with open care, schools, police, healthcare, and other actors
• Contributing to the development of preventive and early interventions
QUALIFICATIONS
• Social work degree
• Knowledge of the Social Services Act and work with children and youth
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust
• Enjoys collaboration and working in teams
• Structured and confident in your professional assessment
• Willingness to help shape the reception unit's future work.
Experience with authority exercise in child and youth services is a merit.
Salary form: Monthly salary.

Working hours: Daytime.
