Ref: 20261899 The Social Psychiatry Section is seeking an experienced social secretary, services and support. Job Responsibilities Welcome to the authority unit at the Disability Support Administration in the City of Malmö! Here you will have the opportunity to work in a workplace characterized by strong team cohesion and engaged leadership. In your role as a social secretary in social psychiatry, you will meet a wide variety of service users, their relatives, and representatives. The target group consists of individuals who face significant challenges due to mental illness and/or functional disabilities. You will assess services according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and regularly collaborate within social services, the region, and other stakeholders. The work is independent, while you are also an important part of a team, where good cooperation and positive interactions are essential for success. As a social secretary for services and support, you are also part of the section's reception and discharge coordination team (SDC), which works across the entire unit. You will have support in your official duties from colleagues, senior social secretaries, managers, and an administrative lawyer who work closely with you in your daily tasks. The goal of the service is effective official administration characterized by legal security, good service, and high quality. Qualifications For the position of social secretary, services and support, we are looking for someone with a degree in social work (socionom) and an interest in supporting and working with people with functional disabilities. Experience in official administration according to SoL is a requirement. Previous experience working in official administration with individuals with comorbidities and homelessness issues is a merit. To work with us, you must be comfortable with computers and have a good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. We are looking for someone who is unpretentious, confident in themselves, has a service-oriented approach, and is clear in interactions with service users. To succeed in this work, you must take initiative, be comfortable making decisions according to applicable law, document thoroughly, and achieve results. We therefore seek someone with a strong ability to organize and structure your work independently and who has experience working with complex issues. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. About the Workplace The workplace is located at Fänriksgatan 1, in central Malmö with good bus connections. At the Disability Support Administration, over 3,000 employees work together to create and develop even better support and services for people with functional disabilities. Our activities include LSS (Act Concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments), social psychiatry, personal assistance, companions, and relief services, as well as healthcare.
