Gislaved Social Administration is seeking social secretaries for the Authority, Children and Family Unit, with a focus on investigation and child follow-up within foster care. We are in an exciting phase of development. As part of an internal reorganization, some of our employees have had the opportunity to take on new tasks and roles within the organization. This creates space for us to welcome new colleagues to our team. With us, you will get meaningful, varied and developmental work where the best interests of the child are at the center. Whether you are interested in investigation or child follow-up, you will become part of an engaged work group where we help each other, share knowledge and develop the organization together. About the positions Social Secretary – Investigation As a social secretary in investigation, you work with children and young people up to 21 years old and their parents. You investigate the situation and support needs of children and young people, make decisions and follow up on implemented measures. The work involves many contacts and cooperation with children, guardians, networks and other professionals. You therefore need to be comfortable in a role where you bring different parts together and keep the child's needs and perspective in focus. Social Secretary – Child Follow-up As a social secretary with a focus on child follow-up, you follow children and young people who are placed in foster homes. You have an important role in ensuring that the child receives the care, security and support that the child needs during their placement. You have contact with the child and the biological parents and work closely with the foster family secretaries regarding the placed child. Our goal is to conduct social work with good quality that is based on knowledge, continuity, participation and a holistic approach. The organization is led by group leaders and a unit manager. With us, you get to work together with colleagues with broad expertise and experience, where we are happy to help and support each other. We value active employee engagement and trust-based leadership. We want you to be able to influence, come up with ideas and be involved in the development of our organization. Qualifications We are looking for someone who is trained as a social worker (socionom) or has other education deemed equivalent for authority work concerning children and young people. If you have equivalent education but need to complete a single course, we can find a solution if you are the right person for us. Your employee engagement is closely linked to your ability to collaborate and participate in your own and the organization's development. With us, this means that you have good cooperation with your manager and colleagues, both at your own workplace and elsewhere in the municipal group. You treat everyone with high service levels, friendliness and high quality through customer and service focus. You take responsibility for being involved in organizational matters and are solution-oriented. We place great emphasis on personal suitability and that your view of employee engagement is consistent with ours. To thrive in the role, we believe you: - Have a good ability to analyze complex situations and see both the whole picture and consequences. - Can structure and prioritize your work even when many things are happening at once. - Take initiative and contribute to the organization's development. - Find it easy to collaborate and build good relationships. - Listen, communicate and handle difficult situations in a constructive way. - Can put yourself in other people's perspectives while maintaining your professional role. - Are calm and stable and dare to act even in difficult situations. - Express yourself well in Swedish in both speech and writing.
