Do you want to make a difference for children and families? We are now seeking 3 social secretaries for the Children and Family Unit! We are looking for someone who wants to help develop future social services with a focus on accessible and preventive social services! Here you work in an operation focused on children and young people's best interests, where you become part of an engaged team. Operations At the Children and Family Unit, we work with children and young people aged 0-18 and their families. We conduct initial assessments, investigations, and follow-ups on interventions in accordance with applicable legislation. The unit is divided into groups, such as reception, investigation, interventions (placements of children and young people), and family law. We use the methodology support tool Child's Needs in Focus (BBIC) to structure our work, and our documentation is conducted in the LifeCare system. We also work according to Signs of Safety, which is a working model for investigation and risk assessment within child social care. We also work with SSPF (School, Social Services, Police, and Leisure) a voluntary collaboration model to identify, support, and prevent children and young people from engaging in crime, substance abuse, or other norm-breaking behavior. You also have support from administrative staff who facilitate administrative work, freeing up time for client contact and interventions. We have a reception area that is part of our operation, providing service to those who visit the Children and Family Unit and the Economics and Adult Unit. With us, you work in an operation that places great emphasis on accessibility, service, and legal security, but above all, we have a strong focus on a children's rights perspective. We strive to implement early, accessible, and preventive interventions that make a difference for children and families. Collaboration with other units and actors is an important part of our work, making us stronger in our assignments. We are now seeking three committed social secretaries who want to work on meaningful and socially important assignments with placement in reception or investigation. Depending on internal decisions, there may also be a placement as a preventive social worker with some authority exercise but primarily focusing on preventive work with children and young people aged 0-12 and their families. Job Duties You will primarily work with authority exercise and, together with your colleagues, ensure that the right interventions are offered at the right time to children and young people with families. As a social secretary, you work with authority exercise according to the Social Services Act (SoL), the Act with Special Provisions on Care of Young People (LVU), and the Act on Placement of Children in Protected Housing (LSB). You are responsible for assessing the need for support and assistance for children, young people, and their parents, as well as for making decisions on and following up interventions according to these laws. Your work includes case management, documentation, and process-oriented work with the families we meet. The role also includes social on-call duty a few weekends per year. Close supervision from a coordinator and external supervision are part of the work. We are looking for someone who - has a degree in Social Work, this is a requirement, as is a driver's license. - can communicate well in speech and writing in Swedish. We consider it advantageous to have - experience with authority exercise in child social care. - experience with case management and documentation knowledge according to BBIC - experience working in the LifeCare system and other computer proficiency. Other Information Scope: Permanent employment, full-time. Start: by agreement but as soon as possible. Hybrid work is offered to some extent by agreement with your manager. Trust-based working hours apply and are an individual agreement between manager and employee. Flexible working hours/flextime can also be offered.
