Welcome to apply! Welcome to us! At Children and Families, 15 social workers are employed, including three senior social workers and the immediate decision-making manager. We are divided into intake, investigation and interventions, and family law. The legislation we work from is primarily the Social Services Act and the Care of Young Persons Act. Our work involves extensive collaboration with both internal and external partners. The Social Department's individual and family care (IFO) is organized into four units; the children and families unit, the adult unit, the open care unit, and the labor market and integration unit. The Social Department consists of 600 employees with a broad scope of responsibility. The department is divided into five operational areas and is present throughout the municipality. We are responsible for providing care and support, assistance and services, as well as health and medical care to municipal residents who need it, at all stages of life. Your qualifications We are looking for someone who: Has a social work degree and documented experience in the exercise of public authority in the field of children and young people Has experience with child welfare investigations and/or working with placed children Has knowledge of current legislation, primarily the Social Services Act and the Care of Young Persons Act Is empathetic, flexible, and values collaboration As a person, you are self-directed and courageous.
