Responsibilities As a social worker, you meet children, young people, and families in different life situations. You conduct investigations in accordance with the Social Services Act, make assessments, make decisions, and follow up on approved interventions. We work according to Signs of Safety and have a clear focus on collaboration, participation, and the network around the child. Investigations are always conducted together with a colleague, which contributes to quality, security, and learning in the role. We also have a well-functioning collaboration with our open care services. Qualifications Sociology degree Experience with authority work within children and youth is advantageous You work in a structured manner, express yourself well in speech and writing, and thrive in a fast-paced work environment You are flexible, collaboration-oriented, and confident in your professional role Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. About Us At the social office's children and youth department, approximately 120 employees work in smaller, well-structured units. The operation is organized to create participation, a good work environment, and balanced workload. The children and youth units work with reception and investigations for children and young people aged 0–20 years. The work is conducted in teams with clear case distribution, specialist functions for introduction and mentorship, and close collaboration between group leaders and unit managers. We work completely digitally and have an established approach that provides structure, quality, and support in daily work.
