Your Responsibilities As a social worker in the Children and Family Services group, you will have an exciting and meaningful role where you can make a difference for children and young people. You will work with preliminary assessments, investigations, support, and follow-up of interventions for children, young people, and parents. We work according to BBIC (Children's Needs in Focus), which is a unified documentation system for child social services. The goal of our work is to help parents manage their relationships and parental roles better. Ultimately, we aim for children and young people in families to thrive. We strive to provide families with early support whenever possible at home. To achieve this goal, we collaborate with other resources, such as authorities and organizations. The team consists of 6 social workers led by a unit manager. You will receive thorough onboarding through the Swedish Board of Health and Welfare's professional introduction program. You will also have opportunities for professional development and supervision. We offer flexible working hours with the possibility of some remote work and one wellness hour per week or a wellness allowance. This is a 6-month temporary position (starting in September) that may lead to a permanent employment. Your Profile We are looking for someone with a degree in social work who is passionate about working with children and young people and wants to make a positive difference in their lives. As a person, you are organized, relationship-focused, and solution-oriented. You have good collaboration skills and a professional approach. You have strong communication skills in Swedish, both written and verbal. We place great importance on your personal qualities. Desirable qualifications include experience in social investigation and treatment work with children and young people, as well as experience working with the Pulsen Combine documentation system. A valid driver's license (Category B) is required A background check will be requested before employment within the Social Services Administration, in accordance with applicable legislation.
