With us, you can make a real difference and contribute to making Linköping a better place. Welcome to us! Your Responsibilities Social Services Skäggetorp consists of approximately 24 employees. Here, social secretaries for municipal authority and open care work closely together and share office space. We are now expanding the team and seeking a social secretary for investigations and follow-up. At Social Services Skäggetorp, we operate our own reception and follow our cases if investigations and follow-up are needed. The work involves conducting preliminary assessments, investigation work, and follow-up of interventions according to social services legislation (SoL and LVU) for children and young people aged 0-20 years. We typically conduct our preliminary assessments together with a social secretary from open care to be able to offer early interventions. We offer service interventions to a large extent. The work as a social secretary in Skäggetorp also involves working broadly in the residential area at individual, group, and structural levels. The focus is on early interventions for children and families, and based on this, special collaboration with, for example, preschools and schools in the area, family centers, as well as culture and leisure is required. Perhaps the most important responsibility of the social secretary is to create a good and trusting relationship with the child/young person and their family. As a social secretary, you will follow the same child over a longer period, which provides good opportunities to positively influence the child's life situation. You will meet children, young people, and families in vulnerable situations, where no two days are the same. It is a challenging, rewarding, and important job where you get a chance to make a difference. Social Services Skäggetorp has a shared mission to meet residents' needs for support and care. Do you dare to try new ideas, methods, and ways of working while striving to provide a high level of service to our residents? Then you may get the opportunity to help shape and develop social services in Skäggetorp. Your Workplace The workplace is located at Skäggetorp centrum 3, in newly renovated premises adapted for our operations. Social Services Skäggetorp is part of the Nearby Social Services department, which is to be a first entry point to the Social Administration. The mission involves making services easily accessible and organizing the department with a geographical focus in prioritized areas. The department is responsible for the Social Administration's reception areas, including municipal authority functions that come with them, as well as family law. The department also provides various open care services for both children and adults. We also collaborate extensively with other departments within the Social Administration, primarily with the Children and Young People department, where the remaining parts of municipal authority work take place and where certain open care and other services are also provided, such as our supported housing. The Investigation and Follow-up Group in Skäggetorp consists of an experienced team with 9 social secretaries, one senior social secretary, and one unit manager. Working hours are Monday-Friday, 07:45-17:00 with a flexible time agreement. However, planned evening and weekend hours may occur, for example at parent meetings at schools or other activities in the area. About You We are looking for someone who has a degree in social work or behavioral science that includes courses in social work, social law, administrative law, and psychology. We see that you have previous experience in social municipal authority work. If you have work experience with the target group of children and young people or experience in investigation work in municipal authority, this is considered meritorious. A driver's license (category B) is required as travel occurs within the position. We see that you have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing as the position involves both internal and external contacts with accompanying documentation. It is meritable if you have previous knowledge and experience working in the Treserva case management system. To succeed in this role, you need to be secure and stable in your professional role. In your work, you take responsibility for your tasks and have the ability to structure, plan, and drive your processes forward. When circumstances change, you adapt easily and see the opportunities in changes. You value diversity and understand how background, culture, and group affiliation affect yourself and others. You have a good ability to take this into account when choosing courses of action. Furthermore, you work well with others and have the ability to create and maintain relationships. You can bring new ideas and approaches to work-related issues and dare to test new thoughts and ideas in practice.
