JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Are you a positive, attentive, and efficient social worker who thrives with meaningful and creative work? We are looking for someone interested in working with social change efforts targeting adult individuals with substance abuse and/or addiction, comorbidity, and social psychiatry. The position involves exercising authority in this area and you will handle reports, applications, and follow-up of services within both the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Act on Care of Substance Abusers (LVM) in certain cases. Since the process for Intimate Partner Violence permeates all activities within the Social Administration, case management in this area also occurs. The unit is also responsible for individuals who wish to leave a criminal lifestyle and are involved in organized crime. The Social Administration in Gnosjö has a process-oriented approach and working method to ensure the entire care chain for those in need of our support. This means we have close collaboration with our open care and we cooperate with external actors such as healthcare. We investigate and assess needs with the support of ASI (Addiction Severity Index) and IBIC (Individual Needs in Focus) to ensure legally sound decisions. Throughout the administration, there is also good expertise regarding Intimate Partner Violence. With us you will have the opportunity to work together with colleagues on developing working methods and practices within our target work. We want to continuously develop and improve our work and everyone's participation is a prerequisite for this. We offer further training, among other things through the Professional Journey. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with a degree in social work or other education that we consider equivalent, but it is necessary to have knowledge of social law. We would like you to have experience working within social services and handling cases concerning adults with substance abuse and addiction, or alternatively other parts of social services authority. You need to be familiar with current legislation. If you have training and previous experience using the ASI assessment and follow-up instrument, it is considered an asset. It is also advantageous if you have previous experience working in the Combine activity system and the region's joint planning system Cosmic Link. It is also advantageous if you have experience working with individuals who have experienced or perpetrated intimate partner violence. We value that you have good knowledge of society's support systems. The work requires that you find it easy to build relationships, have the ability to handle pressured and stressful situations well, and that you take great responsibility for carrying out your work tasks. We believe you are curious and creative in your work, but also that you have the ability to sort and prioritize what needs to be done both in the short and long term. We believe you are interested in both individually and in collaboration with others contributing to the development of the organization as a whole. As a social secretary, you are required to express yourself well both verbally and in writing in Swedish. Since work-related travel occurs, you need a Class B driver's license.
