Ref: 20261752 Umgåsen is expanding its operations with a social worker in an expanded coordination role. Job Responsibilities Starting this fall, Umgåsen will be offering family treatment services, and you will play a central role in building up this part of the operation and developing how the work will be conducted. Your primary task will be to work closely with the operations to ensure quality in family treatment interventions and visitation support services. You will assist social workers as needed in complex cases and be responsible for planning, following up, and providing support, guidance, and supervision to staff members. You will be a close support to the section managers and actively participate in creating, developing, and maintaining routines and well-functioning processes in daily work. You will ensure that the section works cohesively and contribute, together with the section managers, to following up on the operation's goals and results, and driving forward change, quality, and development work. The role also includes gathering and analyzing statistics and key metrics. The role also includes monitoring the external environment and keeping yourself updated on methods and tools used within the operational area. You are responsible for sharing this knowledge with the work group and ensuring that it is implemented and used in daily work. Working hours are office hours with flexible time. Qualifications We are looking for someone with a degree in social work and at least three years of experience in family treatment with children in open-care services. You also have experience with documentation in journal systems. Furthermore, you have good knowledge of Swedish and English and can express yourself well in both speech and writing in both languages. It is meritorious if you have: experience working in a coordinating role experience driving change, quality, and development work experience working with visitation support services experience working with families in conflict good knowledge of relevant legislation, such as the Parental Code and the Social Services Act. About the Workplace Umgåsen is part of the IFO Interventions division and works with visitation support services. The operation carries out assignments on behalf of the social services for both children with separated parents and children in foster care, as well as their parents. The section currently consists of 12 social workers and four social pedagogues who work with visitation support services, as well as two sub-operations each with two family foster care secretaries, Visitation Support and the Contact Person Project. In addition, the section consists of two section managers, and starting this fall, a coordinator will be added with a particular focus on developing and ensuring quality in family treatment work.
