WORK TASKS: As a school social worker within the school social team, your tasks include assessment, investigation, and direct operational work with students and their guardians. You collaborate with the other team members and school staff, with a focus on helping the student return to a more functional school experience. The team is a bridge between social services and the school, where cooperation with the school's various arenas is of great importance. Other work tasks include handling cases within the children and youth area according to applicable legislation. That is, you investigate and make decisions about interventions according to applicable legislation and are responsible for follow-ups of the interventions you have decided on. Most of your working time is based at the school together with the other team members. In our work, we strive to increase children's participation and ensure that children and parents experience good treatment. You work independently as a school social worker. In cases where needed, you have access to a co-handler. As an employee, you have good access to support and guidance from the senior social worker and unit manager, principal, but especially through the school social team. Experience in close cooperation with the school as well as experience with BBIC and knowledge of Lifecare are also merit factors. A class B driver's license is required.
