We have close leadership from both the unit manager and senior social worker and support in daily work for our social workers. Within the unit there is also a Reception and Foster Care Group and close collaboration with the Adult Unit, LSS and the municipality's own open care services. Read more here: https://boivaggeryd.se/ Job Responsibilities As a social worker, you investigate children and young people's needs and follow up on families' situations after decisions on open interventions, with the support of SoL, LVU and other applicable legislation. We have close collaboration with police, field workers, schools, preschools and open care services. You receive support in your work through close supervision and external counseling. Workload assessment is conducted regularly and you receive individual case counseling as needed. You have opportunities to develop in both responsibility and competence development. We are also part of the National Board of Health and Welfare's professional development program. Qualifications A degree in social work is required. You have at least two years of experience in social services work with children and youth, with a significant portion in authority work. You have found grounding in your professional role and have an interest and commitment to conducting social work. You build good relationships with both children and their parents. You collaborate with both internal and external actors and work independently, in a structured manner and with initiative. You communicate well in speech and writing in Swedish. Great consideration will be given to personal suitability. A driver's license (category B) is required. Other Information This recruitment process includes interviews and reference checks.
