The Children and Family Unit consists of an intake function, an investigation team, a team for follow-up of interventions, and a team for family law and foster care. We also have two family centers and a family team. We are a group that helps each other and maintains straightforward and open communication. The unit is in a development phase where we are implementing iRiSk, among other things. We offer process supervision, wellness allowance, holiday exchange, and the possibility to work from home part-time. Your Assignment You will work in the investigation team where you assess the life situation and needs of children, young people, and guardians in order to offer various support measures based on this assessment. Our unit works with children and young people aged 0-21 years. You will have a varied and exciting job handling different types of cases, and we work according to BBIC (Children's Needs in Focus). Our goal is to maintain high quality in our social work. You will be part of an investigation team with two to three colleagues and work closely with other social workers, the family team, coordinators, and the unit manager. Who Are We Looking For? We are looking for someone with a degree in social work and preferably previous experience in social work. It is advantageous if you have training or experience in BBIC (Children's Needs in Focus), but it is not required as we work with Yrkesresan (SKR), which is a competency-building initiative for those new to the profession. You need to have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing, as well as documentation experience. Since the position includes travel and home visits, you need to have a B-category driver's license. As a person, you are good at understanding and seeing things from others' perspectives and situations. You are calm and collected in situations that require it and focus on what matters. When needed, you can be flexible and have the ability to adapt and see solutions. You have good collaboration skills and enjoy both independently organizing, planning, and creating structure in your work.
