WORK TASKS The assignment includes investigating and assessing children's need for protection and support, as well as following up on interventions in accordance with applicable legislation. The role involves representing the child's interests and needs, as well as making the child a participant in their own investigation and interventions, and providing access to the right support. In your work, you base yourself on knowledge and proven experience. You also take into account current legislation, guidelines, and procedures, and make decisions according to applicable delegation regulations. Service matters are important; we strive to be respectful, credible, clear, and efficient. Authoritative work places high demands on you being flexible, able to perform, and be professional in many difficult and stressful situations. You can meet given deadlines and have a high ability to structure, plan, and prioritize. At your side, you have a senior social secretary who supports and coaches you in your daily work, as well as team meetings with other investigators every week. We have recently expanded to 10 social secretaries to promote physical and mental work environment as we prioritize a sustainable working life. We also offer external group supervision. QUALIFICATIONS We welcome you who want to make a difference for our children and young people in Klippan and who have a degree in social work (socionomexamen) with at least two years of experience with the target group in authority work within social services focused on children and youth. You are up to date within the field of social work and have knowledge of applicable legislation. You need to have knowledge of and experience with investigations, case handling, and documentation according to BBIC. For us, it is very important that you show great commitment and interest in the target group while having the ability to maintain a clear focus based on the assignment. To succeed in this role, you should be flexible and solution-oriented as well as good at creating sustainable relationships, as you will become an important person for the children and their parents in your assignment. We want to develop the social services of the future together with you, but we also understand the importance of enjoying administration. You are also good at communicating, cooperating, and treating others both internally and externally with respect. You have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing, good documentation ability, and current knowledge of social legislation as well as a category B driver's license. You work independently and drive your processes forward and take responsibility for and implement decisions made.
