We are now looking for a social worker for our disability care services as one of our employees is moving on to another position within the municipality.
With us, you'll become part of an engaged and competent government unit consisting of eight social workers, three of whom work in disability care and five in elderly care. The unit also has a family coordinator, an activities and collaboration coordinator, and a unit manager. We work closely together and value an open work environment where we share knowledge, support each other, and together develop our services.

WORK TASKS
As a social worker, you are responsible for investigating, assessing, making decisions, and following up on interventions in accordance with the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Act on Support and Services for Persons with Disabilities (LSS).
You meet both younger and older people with disabilities and handle applications for support and services based on the individual's needs. The work involves many contacts and close collaboration with the individual, family members, guardians and administrators, healthcare, other authorities, and internal and external partners.
We work in the Pulsen Combine system and use IBIC (Individual Needs in Focus) as support in investigation, assessment, and documentation.
The work is independent and varied with great personal responsibility. At the same time, you are part of a team where we support each other, collaborate, and together take responsibility for developing our services.
Since we are a joint government unit for disability care and elderly care, we work closely together across service boundaries. When needed, we help each other within the unit, which means that tasks within elderly care may occur. We see this as a natural part of our joint assignment and a strength that contributes to increased collaboration, knowledge exchange, and good service to the municipality's residents.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who has
a degree in social work or other academic education that the employer deems equivalent
good ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing
good computer skills
B-class driver's license.
It is meritorious if you have
• experience with government administration according to SoL and LSS
• experience working according to IBIC
• experience with the Pulsen Combine system
