About the Position We are seeking 2 social secretaries for livelihood support within the Social Administration Northeast. Our primary mission is to work together with individuals toward self-sufficiency, while investigating and assessing eligibility for financial assistance. The work involves long-term and close client relationships where you follow individuals over time, from application through follow-up and toward self-sufficiency. As a social secretary, you are responsible for investigating, making decisions, and following up on interventions in accordance with current legislation. You plan your work independently within the scope of your assignment, which means variety in your daily tasks and the ability to prioritize and structure your work. An important part of the role is to meet people where they are, work motivationally, and collaborate with both internal and external partners. A key component is actively building relationships with those you meet and working extensively on relationship-building. We are in an operation undergoing change, where upcoming legislative changes, such as activity requirements, will impact the work content and methods. At Social Administration Northeast, we actively work on development to meet these changes. We use a solution-focused approach and build on individuals' own resources and abilities. We offer flexible contracts and the opportunity for some remote work. You will have access to external supervision, training, and close management from two senior social secretaries. As a new employee, you will be offered an introduction with mentor support and continuous support in your professional role. About You We are seeking someone with a social work degree who wants to work with public authority responsibilities in livelihood support. You have a professional approach, good interpersonal skills, and the ability to create trusting interactions with people in different life situations. You have a good understanding of social work in a politically governed organization and work with legal certainty according to current legislation. In this role, you need to be able to structure your work, prioritize between different cases, and collaborate well with colleagues and other partners. It is also an advantage if you have experience working with livelihood support and experience with public authority responsibilities within social services.
