DUTIES
We are now seeking a social worker for financial assistance. The main task is to support and motivate people seeking assistance toward self-sufficiency through social and relationship-building work, while investigating eligibility for financial assistance according to the Social Services Act. The role includes regular contact with both individuals and internal and external collaborative partners.

This requires a very high degree of flexibility in our work and that through our approach we build safe and trusting relationships. You will join a team of experienced colleagues and have close access to your immediate supervisor. In Emmaboda, we strive to work in teams on shared cases. This means you will work closely with colleagues in child and family services, harmful substance use and addiction, domestic violence, employment consultants, and our open care services.
QUALIFICATIONS
To be considered for the position, you have a degree as a social worker (socionom) or other academic education that the employer deems equivalent.
Beyond that, you are a flexible, solution-focused, and relationship-building social worker who is passionate about seeing others grow.
You have a driver's license for a car with manual transmission.
You are accustomed to meeting people where they are, and your work style is characterized by a willingness to collaborate.
You have previously worked with financial assistance, and the computer is a tool you feel comfortable using. You are driven both by working independently and by contributing to teams.
In individual and family services, we work based on Signs of Safety, and experience with this is a merit.
Previous experience with the case management system Lifecare is also a merit.
