Children and Youth 2 in Centrum is now seeking an additional experienced social worker to join our investigation unit on Skånegatan. Our senior social workers have long and solid experience in child welfare work. They are experienced at supervising both experienced and newer social workers. They are accessible, provide opportunities for development, encourage independence, and trust their team members. Support from senior social workers is tailored to your needs and experience. With us, you'll receive regular supervision both individually and in groups. We are looking for someone who wants to contribute to our operations, where we maintain high quality in our work with children and families at the center! Job Responsibilities Your work will involve handling cases with support from the Social Services Act (SoL), the Care of Young Persons Act (LVU), and the Child Care in Extraordinary Circumstances Act (LBSB) for children and young people aged 0-21 years. You will work in close collaboration with the Resource Unit, which provides open care services within the city district. Case handling is conducted according to BBiC, and the operations are in an ongoing implementation of Signs of Safety. Case distribution follows a phase system. You will join a workplace with structure and good access to close supervision from experienced senior social workers. We have a strong focus on making children and youth even more involved in their contact with us. In addition to regular case supervision with management, you will also receive external process supervision. We work to ensure everyone has the opportunity for professional development, as we believe that participation and responsibility help us develop our units together. Understanding the importance of providing newly hired social workers with the right conditions and a good start, our department has two introduction coordinators who will provide you with an individually tailored introduction. Qualifications We are looking for someone with a degree in social work and several years of experience working with children and youth. Previous experience with government administration is an advantage. You have a clear child perspective in your work and base your approach on children's rights. You should be familiar with current legislation—SoL, LVU, and LBSB—and have knowledge of BBIC. Experience working according to Signs of Safety is an advantage. You have strong assessment and documentation skills and take responsibility for following up on ongoing interventions. A B-category driver's license is highly desirable for this position. As a person, you are reliable and collaborative. You can work independently, drive processes, and make your own assessments. You are self-assured and express yourself well both verbally and in writing. You have a strong ability to create and maintain relationships with both collaboration partners and families we meet. You treat people with respect and are curious about families' own solutions. You have a positive approach and see the value of collaborating with others so that each person receives the right support in their unique situation. The work requires flexibility and the ability to organize and manage your time between collaboration, documentation, and client meetings to ensure high quality in our operations.
