WORKPLACE Child and Youth Services, Social Services Department Help shape the future of Hagfors! We are seeking a staff member for the Social Services Department. As a social worker in the Child and Youth Services, you will be part of a team of eight social workers and a group leader who provides support and guidance in daily operations. We also have two family therapists as part of our team. The Social Services Department also includes an adult services unit and open-access services where work is conducted in close collaboration. The department also has case managers who provide support with administration and other matters. The Employment Unit is also part of our operations. DUTIES AND QUALIFICATIONS In the Child and Youth Services, you primarily handle investigations and follow-up of interventions according to the Social Services Act and the Care of Young Persons Act, as well as family law matters for children and young people aged 0-21 years. You work in close collaboration with other staff members within the Social Services Department and together with external authorities and organizations. You should have a degree in social work or other academic education deemed equivalent. Experience in the field is a merit. You should be easy to work with and have strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. You must have a valid driver's license (category B).
