Vallaskolan is located in Enhörna and is an F–6 school with approximately 260 students. The school is in an exciting development phase and will be expanded into an F–9 school. We are now looking for a social pedagogue who wants to help develop our work with student safety, social development, and well-being. You will become an important part of our after-school program. Your responsibilities As a social pedagogue, you work in a supportive, preventive, and interventional manner to create safety and good conditions for students' social development. You collaborate closely with other colleagues in the after-school program, school staff, student health services, and guardians to strengthen student participation, well-being, and attendance. Your duties include: Work in a relationship-building and supportive manner with students both individually and in groups. Plan and implement activities that strengthen students' social skills, participation, and sense of safety. Contribute to a safe and inclusive climate in the after-school program and at school. Collaborate with after-school program staff, teachers, student health services, and guardians. Participate actively in recess activities and other social contexts where students are present. Support students in conflict management and development of positive relationships. Contribute to preventive and promotional work regarding attendance, safety, and study environment. Participate in the school's systematic quality work related to safety and social development. Who are you? Requirements: Degree as a social pedagogue or other post-secondary education that the employer deems equivalent. Experience working with students in after-school programs for younger children. Strong ability to communicate in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. Knowledge of social and pedagogical development work with children and young people. Meritorious: Experience working in schools or after-school programs. Experience with preventive and promotional student health work. Knowledge of accommodations and inclusive working methods. Experience with low-affect interaction approaches. Experience working with students in special needs programs. Experience collaborating with guardians and external partners. Personal qualities: You are confident, relationship-focused, and have a strong commitment to children. You have good collaboration skills and contribute to a positive work environment. You are flexible, solution-focused, and can adapt your approach to meet student needs. You are responsible, proactive, and work independently when the situation requires it.
