JOB RESPONSIBILITIES In your role as a social pedagogue, you will be present for students throughout the school day. You support them in study situations, during breaks, and serve as an adult support at the school. To help students experience school as a pleasant and safe place, you work preventatively and proactively to build community and prevent exclusion. When conflicts arise, you are there to resolve the situation. We maintain close collaboration with guardians, so this is a natural part of the assignment. Together with your colleagues, you plan and conduct recreational activities with the students. As a social pedagogue, you support students in developing, succeeding in their studies, and building their self-esteem—for example, by creating structure in their studies. Two days a week we have study support time during which you are expected to provide support to students. You do this work together with mentors and educators. QUALIFICATIONS To succeed in the role of social pedagogue, we are looking for someone with experience working with young people. It is meritorious if you have previous experience in a social pedagogue position. You are confident as a person and have no problem adjusting during the workday to other tasks as needed. It is natural for you to work independently as well as collaborate with others. We are looking for someone with education as a social pedagogue, social worker, or background that the employer considers equivalent. You can express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing. Employment form: Fixed-term employment. Duration: ends 2027-06-30. The social pedagogue position is a one-year substitute role and may be extended.
