About the Workplace Stenkula School is a grades F-9 school with approximately 450 students. Starting in the 2025/26 school year, Stenkula School will launch a resource school for students in grades 1-9 where we actively work to ensure all students are included according to their needs. This means all staff must be open to changing their approach and teaching methods to best create an inclusive learning environment characterized by a strong belief that all students want to learn. Stenkula School is also Malmö's option for students with hearing impairments; these students are fully included in regular instruction groups. These conditions enable smaller class sizes/instruction groups at the school to create the right learning environment for each student. We work according to Simon Sinek's The Golden Circle, and the school's Why is: "We Make The World A Better Place". In recent years, Stenkula School's commitment plan has focused on Accessible Learning Environment, SKUA (Language and Knowledge Development Work Methods), and ICT as an accelerator for pedagogy. These commitments aim to create a sense of belonging for all children by ensuring all staff develop the skills needed to create an accessible learning environment. We believe that we can all always develop and improve, and our school development is based on Michael Fullan's thinking about Coherence and Deepening Learning. At Stenkula School, we make a real difference for ALL students every day. Be part of creating the best school for every student—you too! The Department of Primary Education—the city's largest department with approximately 80 schools, 6,300 employees, and 36,000 students—offers a workplace for everyone.
