About the Workplace Vision i Väst is a residential care home where operations are designed as a small, family-like living environment with few beds and a competent staff team. We offer placement for boys aged 13-17 in a safe and well-functioning structure tailored to each individual's needs and circumstances. We work intensively with a small youth group and use evidence-based methods and approaches in working with each individual. Job Responsibilities In your role as a treatment pedagogue, you are responsible for supporting the young people both practically and socially. You will support and motivate the youth in various daily activities to ensure a functioning everyday situation and a meaningful and stimulating leisure time. As a treatment pedagogue, you will be part of a contact person system where you oversee the youth's health, schooling, and activities, as well as maintain weekly planning. Furthermore, you will work according to implementation plans, established goals, methods, quality requirements, and other guidelines. Your work tasks also include documentation, counseling support, and all regularly occurring practical work duties. About You: We are looking for someone who is trained as a social pedagogue or has other education that the employer deems equivalent. You should have at least 2-4 years of relevant experience working with this target group and be personally suited for the role. If you have documented experience and good references from working with children and youth with social difficulties, this is a merit. Since the position involves documentation, we expect you to have good Swedish in both speech and writing and experience with social documentation from previous work. As a person, you are responsible, attentive, and solution-focused. If you have the ability to motivate young people from an empathetic and supportive approach, you will thrive at Vision i Väst. You are accustomed to meeting individuals with mental health challenges and have experience working with youth in vulnerable situations. Furthermore, you need to be calm, mature, cooperative, and a good role model. Vision i Väst strives for a balanced work team regarding educational background, experience, age, language, cultural background, and gender. Currently, men are underrepresented in the work team. Requirements: Class B driver's license and an extract from the police's suspicion and criminal records register. The Position The position is full-time with scheduled hours for day/evening/weekend and on-call night shifts. A permanent employment will be preceded by a 6-month probationary period.
