Welcome to us! Alsike School is a grades F-6 school in Knivsta Municipality. The school currently has approximately 350 students and about 50 staff members. The school has a student support team consisting of school management, special education teacher, special needs teacher, school counselor, school nurse, and school psychologist. 1 position(s). DUTIES We are now seeking a social pedagogue at 80 percent for a development project focused on increased school attendance, safety, and social sustainability. This is a project-based position from today until June 30, 2027, with the possibility of extension. As a social pedagogue, you will be an important part of the school's promotional and preventive work. You will work closely with students, guardians, educators, and the student support team to strengthen students' conditions for success both socially and academically. Your responsibilities include: • building relationships and being present in students' daily lives • supporting students at risk of problematic school absence • contributing to increased safety, study peace, and well-being at school • conducting individual conversations and group interventions • collaborating with guardians and external actors when necessary • participating in the school's student support work and safety-building initiatives • supporting educators in social and preventive work regarding students and student groups • planning, implementing, and following up on initiatives within the project's target areas. We are looking for someone who sees the strength in working long-term, preventively, and solution-focused with students' social development and school attendance. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who has: • education as a social pedagogue or other education that the employer deems equivalent • experience working with children and young people • strong ability to create and maintain relationships • experience collaborating with guardians and various professionals • strong ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish.
