The Education Department is responsible for all activities within the municipality's preschools, primary schools, adapted primary school, after-school centers, upper secondary school, and adult education.
The Brage and Ymer preschool area consists of two nearby preschools where we work together to develop education. Here you'll encounter modern learning environments and activities that are based on children's curiosity, exploration, and participation.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Do you want to work in an inspiring and creative learning environment where children's curiosity and exploration are at the center?
We work through projects, which means we start from children's thoughts, interests, experiences, and opinions and connect these in children's projects with the curriculum's goals and intentions as the foundation.
The position includes working preventatively with children's safety and social interaction, as well as providing support to children who need specially adapted assistance. An important part of the work is to support the work team in preventative social work and to mentor educators in difficult group situations and conflict management.
The work also involves collaborating with and supporting department educators and special educators in early interventions for individual children or families. Together with colleagues, you'll also conduct and develop good and inspiring pedagogical activities.
QUALIFICATIONS
We're looking for you who are trained as a social pedagogue and certified as a preschool teacher. You have experience working with children and their parents, as well as good computer skills and digital competence. You also have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
To succeed in this role, you need to have very good collaboration skills and an accommodating and professional approach. You are engaged, creative, and proactive, as well as social and genuinely interested in people. You are responsible and organized and are perceived as safe, attentive, and trustworthy.
