An Employee in this position performs the following functions: assesses the needs for social pedagogical assistance to children and students (together with other specialists), and may attend lessons, non-formal education and other activities when necessary; provides consultation to children and students, their parents (guardians, custodians), and the King Mindaugas PMC community on issues related to solving social pedagogical problems and providing social pedagogical assistance; participates in addressing crisis situations at King Mindaugas PMC, and problems related to education and social skills; plans methods and forms of providing social pedagogical assistance to children and students in cooperation with teachers, group leaders, parents (guardians, custodians), other specialists, educational support institutions, other persons working with children and students, social services and healthcare institutions, law enforcement agencies, and social partners. informs the King Mindaugas PMC community on matters of social pedagogical assistance provision, prevention of school absenteeism and other negative social phenomena, positive socialization, and continuously improves their own competencies; initializes and implements preventive activities and social education projects together with the King Mindaugas PMC Child Welfare Commission and school self-governance groups, fostering children's and students' life skills; carries out relevant social pedagogical research in the school, taking into account the needs (priorities, strategic and annual activity plans) of the King Mindaugas PMC community; collects, gathers and analyzes information necessary to address problems of children and students, in cooperation with the King Mindaugas PMC community and, when necessary, with other institutions; prepares and disseminates information about social-pedagogical assistance; maintains and completes work documents (consultation logs and other required documents); plans and coordinates with the Director of King Mindaugas PMC the priorities of annual activities.

- Tikimės, jog tu: turi ne žemesnį kaip aukštąjį universitetinį ar koleginį išsilavinimą, pedagogo kvalifikaciją, ir baigęs studijų programą ar specializaciją, skirtą socialiniams pedagogams rengti, arba esi įgijęs aukštąjį universitetinį išsilavinimą ar koleginį ir socialinio pedagogo kvalifikaciją; arba esi įgijęs socialinės pedagogikos kvalifikacinį laipsnį ir pedagogo ir pedagogo ar socialinio pedagogo kvalifikaciją; arba turi socialinio darbuotojo kvalifikacinį laipsnį ar socialinio darbo kvalifikacinį laipsnį ir įgijęs pedagogo kvalifikaciją ar edukologijos kvalifikacinį laipsnį; arba turi edukologijos kvalifikacinį laipsnį ir studijavai pagal studijų programą, kurioje ne mažiau kaip 64 kreditus sudarė socialinės pedagogikos dalykai; arba esi įgijęs aukštąjį išsilavinimą, pedagogo kvalifikaciją ir aukštojoje mokykloje baigei ne trumpesnį kaip 60 studijų kreditų socialinės pedagogikos studijų modulį; Žinai tarptautinius vaikų teises ir interesus reglamentuojančius dokumentus, LR Konstituciją, LR įstatymus, LR Vyriausybės nutarimus ir kitus norminius aktus, etikos principus.
