(Registration No. 90000039319) Rīga Social Care Center "Gaiļezers" (hereinafter – the Center) announces a competition for the position of Social Rehabilitator in the Social Work Department (profession code: 3412 02) for an indefinite period. Position Purpose: Maintenance and development of social functioning and social activity of Center clients, including organization and facilitation of leisure time activities. Requirements: ●First-level professional higher education in social rehabilitation ●At least one year of experience working with elderly persons and persons with disabilities ●State language proficiency in accordance with regulatory requirements (C1 level) ●Good computer skills (Software: MS Office, APSIS, SOPA, ELISS) and office equipment operation ●Independence in task completion and ability to organize own work ●Knowledge of regulatory acts governing social services and ability to apply them in practice ●Understanding of professional ethics, high communication culture, sense of responsibility, and excellent communication skills ●Good skills in information and communication technology, including computer use at experienced user level Main Job Duties: ●Ensure social rehabilitation measures and leisure time activities in accordance with Center client needs and preferences ●Perform initial and repeated client situation assessments in accordance with competence and statutory timeframes ●Participate in interdisciplinary team work ●Participate in development of individual social rehabilitation plans for clients ●Organize and lead creative workshops, interest clubs, cognitive classes, book and magazine exchanges, singing classes, and other leisure activities and events, including recreation and cultural events, for Center clients in Center facilities, on Center grounds, and outside the Center ●Motivate clients to participate in classes and attend events ●Promote maintenance and improvement of client social and life skills ●Conduct individual social rehabilitation work with clients in accordance with social rehabilitation and/or social care plan provisions ●Make records in client files, including electronic records using the APSIS electronic planning system, in accordance with competence ●Provide information and reports on Center client social rehabilitation and leisure time activity plan implementation in accordance with Department Deputy Director instructions and/or internal regulatory requirements ●Participate in client surveys and compile survey results ●Provide information to Department Deputy Director regarding necessary materials for activity provision ●Submit suggestions for Center internal regulatory development in accordance with competence ●Perform other tasks consistent with position competence We Offer: ●Stable salary and social benefits ●Modern work environment and good working conditions ●Health insurance policy ●Salary – 1205 EUR (before tax) Candidates must submit to Rīga Social Care Center "Gaiļezers" by August 12, 2026 at 17:00: Hipokrāta Street 6, Riga, LV-1079; email: [email protected] with subject "Competition for Social Rehabilitator Position in Social Work Department (indefinite period)": ●Motivated application letter ●Professional curriculum vitae (CV) ●Copy of education credentials Contact numbers for additional information: 67012227 (personnel selection) and 67012229 (position-specific questions).
