is the largest provider of state long-term social care and social rehabilitation services in Latvia.
We are hiring a SOCIAL REHABILITATION SPECIALIST (profession code: 341202) at the "Ķīši" branch
(1 position, full-time, for an indefinite period).
We offer:
social guarantees in accordance with state administration regulations;
salary (gross) from EUR 851 – EUR 1220 depending on professional experience and competencies; during the trial period salary up to EUR 870;
25% allowance on the fixed monthly salary for special risk;
reduced working hours within normal working time (35 hours per week);
work experience in state administration;
additional leave for special risk (3 working days per year) and additional leave for annual evaluation (from 4 - 10 working days per year);
friendly, responsive, and professional colleagues;
health insurance after 3 months of employment.
Main job responsibilities:
assess clients' social functioning;
diagnose clients' social barriers, social status, values, and determine the level of clients' social skills;
participate in an interprofessional team during clients' social rehabilitation process;
participate in the development, implementation, and improvement of clients' individual social rehabilitation plans;
work to improve social skills and promote new skills under the guidance of a social worker.
Requirements for candidates:
short-cycle higher education in social rehabilitation or second-cycle higher education in social work or charitable social work, if also obtained short-cycle professional higher education and level five professional qualification in social rehabilitation, or first-cycle higher education in social work and social worker qualification, if during studies or professional development education process you completed a part of a study program related to social rehabilitation of at least four credit points or 160 hours;
knowledge in social rehabilitation, social care, health care issues, psychology, and pedagogy;
knowledge necessary for performing the basic tasks of professional activities at an understanding level;
knowledge of the state language;
work experience in the care field will be considered an advantage;
valid electronic signature.
Work location: VSAC "Zemgale" branch "Ķīši", "Ķīši", Jaunsātu parish, Tukuma municipality.
