announces a competition for a vacant Social REHABILITATION SPECIALIST position
Main duties of the position:
participate in developing the client's social rehabilitation plan according to identified needs;
conduct assessment of the client's social functioning abilities and needs;
improve and develop the client's social skills;
involve clients in educational, cultural, health-promoting, and sports activities;
promote clients' social activities by helping them maintain an active lifestyle;
document the social rehabilitation process.
Requirements for candidates:
education: first-level higher professional education and social rehabilitation specialist qualification;
prior experience in social work is desirable;
language skills: Latvian - advanced level;
ability to make timely and constructive decisions and show initiative;
ability to work in a team;
must have knowledge of MS Office standard software, electronic correspondence, and internet environment.
