Work location: Jaunatnes iela 1, Grobiņa, Dienvidkurzemes novads Profession code 2635 04 Requirements for job applicants: Level 2 professional higher education in social work or 4th year student; understanding of social services and social assistance provision; understanding of individuals' social needs; ability to navigate regulatory acts and apply them in work; ability to independently organize work and make decisions; good communication skills, emotional resilience, ability to work in a team; good skills working with computers and office equipment; desirable Category B driver's license. Main responsibilities: social work with elderly people identification of needs and social problems, involvement in their resolution; organize the process of allocating social services (home care service, social care service in long-term social care and social rehabilitation institutions, etc.) and participate in provision of social services, resource and service engagement in the work process; organize provision of home care service ensured by the social service, coordinating and overseeing the work of caregivers and drivers assigned to the service, in the territory specified in the job description; assess individuals' needs and provide individual consultations and psychosocial support in problem-solving; work with the unified municipal social assistance administration electronic system (SOPA).
