Talsu novada Sociālais dienests (registration No. 90009113532) announces an open competition for a social worker position in the Family Support Department of Talsu novada Sociālais dienests for work with families and children in Laidzes, Vandzenes, and Virbu parishes (profession code according to classifier 2635 03) Talsu novada Sociālais dienests invites a social worker to join our team to provide social work services to families and children. Requirements for candidates: first or second cycle higher education in social work or charitable social work; currently pursuing second cycle higher education in social work or charitable social work (social worker qualification); experience in social work (experience from the last three years will be evaluated); attendance at supplementary training or courses relevant to the position duties (within the last three years). Main job duties: conduct social work with families and children; manage social cases by engaging necessary resources and documenting the process; organize clients' receipt of social services at their place of residence or in social rehabilitation institutions; establish and engage multidisciplinary teams in social case management when necessary; work with the municipal social assistance and social services administration application (SOPA); make decisions and bear responsibility for their legality.
