Jelgavas novada Department of Social Affairs announces a competition for the position of Senior Social Worker in the Social Work Department (on issues of social work with adults) Main job duties: provide methodological support to social workers in case management in social work with adults; coordinate, consult, provide methodological support and participate in the management of complex social cases; coordinate cases requiring involvement of multiple institutions; when necessary, organize and participate in inter-institutional meetings in cooperation with the social worker-case manager; organize the reception and provision of responses in the manner established by normative acts; participate in the development and improvement of social work processes and methodological materials; in cooperation with the social worker-case manager, assess the need for social rehabilitation services for persons who have suffered violence and those who have perpetrated violence, and prepare documents for service provision; ensure the administration process for receiving social rehabilitation services for adult persons who have suffered and perpetrated violence; Requirements for candidates: second-level professional higher or academic education in social work or charitable social work; at least 2 years of professional work experience in the position of social worker; ability to prepare reports and response letters; good skills in working with MS Office programs; state language proficiency at the advanced level in accordance with the requirements of the State Language Law; ability to work in a team; ability to communicate with people; desired: one year of work experience in social work; desired: Category B driver's license Documents to submit: professional activity description (CV); copy of document certifying education; motivation letter.
