Position offered - Social Worker at the Ogre District Social Service structural units: Group Housing Service/Respite Care Service for individuals with intellectual disabilities Main job duties: conduct assessment of clients' social functioning abilities; develop individual social rehabilitation plans for clients; create and coordinate a network of available resources (social services and other types of support needed by clients); assist clients in solving emerging daily difficulties; cooperate with other professionals and institutions in addressing matters related to solving clients' problems; advocate for and protect clients' interests and rights (as needed); accompany and represent clients in various institutions. Requirements for candidates: Second level professional higher education in social work or charitable social work; desired experience in social work; ability to work with the Social Assistance Administration application SOPA and MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Internet; good communication, empathy, and listening skills, ability to make decisions quickly and independently in non-standard situations, ability to work creatively; ability to work in a team; excellent knowledge of Latvian language; good skills in working with office equipment.
